Investors sell in Spain to by in Bulgaria


5 from the last 20 preliminary agreements in Harmony Hills near Albena are signed by Spaniards, says the CEO of Bulgarian Land Development Fund Dimitar Savov


Investors are selling their holiday homes in Spain and put their money in Bulgarian sea properties, announced Dimitar Savov, CEO of Bulgarian Land Development Fund.


Except good capital growth, the good quality of the new built complexes in Bulgaria is what attracts the foreigners. Typically the holiday complexes in Spain contain mainly from villas and apartment houses on plots of about 100 decares. Compared to that, the projects in Bulgaria have much more amenities and facilities. The most of the investors doing this are British, but lately Spanish buyers have interest in Bulgarian holiday market as well.


This trend is recognized in the sells of the first project of BLD in Bulgaria - Harmony Hills, distanced only 4 km from Albena. From the last 20 preliminary agreements 5 are with Spaniards. Up to now more than 100 from 180 apartments and 22 family houses are reserved and sold, announced Dimitar Savov. Among the byers there are Scandinavians and Romanians as well.


Harmony Hills is located on 12 decares plot in the village of Rogachevo near Balchik. It is expected to be completed by the spring of 2008
